Melbourne delivery details
We are currently delivering turf Monday to Friday around metro Melbourne, covering the suburbs within 30km of the CBD, including of Werribee, Bacchus Marsh, Melton & Sunbury. If you have access to a ute or a trailer, you can also pick up your turf from Sunshine Monday to Friday. (We do not have turf on display in Sunshine.)
Place your order by 12noon and for most of the week we can deliver the next day. However, Fridays tend to book out early in the week so we will need several days notice.
Although we prefer to have our Melbourne deliveries completed in the morning some deliveries will not be until the afternoon. We are unable to provide you with your preferred time as we are unable to satisfy everyone, although it would be nice….
Consequently, our minimum delivery is 15 square metres.
We send you a text message in the afternoon prior to your delivery with the expected delivery time.
Currently we do not have turf on display in Melbourne.
Is it too late to plant turf?
We are constantly asked if it is too late to plant turf? Well no it is not, the turf will take longer to establish than if you were to lay it in Summer. Just remember that with the regular rain not to over water your lawn. It does not like wet feet.
Water Restrictions
Melbourne residences are now on Stage 1 water restrictions, which is great as you can now use your watering system to water your lawn on alternate days, however unless you are going to water your new lawn with a trigger-nozzle hose everyday, we strongly suggest that you still apply for a 28 day water exemption just to get your drought tolerant grass established.
